meet VALERIE

Founder of Klēo Healing, somatic practitioner & impact strategist exploring the intersection of healing, embodied living, and collective transformation.

the unfolding

My journey with mindfulness began early. As a child navigating anxiety and the fear of going to school, I was introduced to meditation — a simple practice that helped me return to presence whenever things felt overwhelming. Around me, emotions were openly part of everyday life. Growing up alongside a professional athlete meant having many conversations about feelings and resilience, shaping how I began relating to awareness and my inner world.

Eventually life pulled me toward the societal expectations of career and achievement. I spent over a decade working in strategy consulting within international teams, living and working between cities like Montreal, New York, Madrid, Milan, and Berlin, often drawn toward projects connected to impact, lifestyle, and wellness. For years I moved quickly through that world — driven, constantly in motion, living in a kind of autopilot, until a chronic autoimmune condition emerged, a reminder from the body that something deeper was asking for attention.

Through an ongoing healing journey, I came to realize that something essential was missing from my life — a deeper sense of purpose, a more intentional way of living. I began exploring mindfulness spaces again, deepening into my path as a somatic practitioner and yoga instructor, seeking the experience itself — the atmosphere, the setting, and the ability to slow down and reconnect — something I now try to bring into everything I create.

the work

Klēo Healing grew from what began as a personal return to mindfulness and a deeper journey of healing.

The name Klēo evokes the idea of giving voice to what matters and bringing what is meaningful into the world — a reflection of the intention behind this work.

At its core, my work is about helping individuals return to themselves — their bodies, their inner clarity, and a sense of presence. Through somatic healing sessions, intentional living journeys, and immersive experiences, I create spaces where people can slow down and regulate their nervous systems, allowing meaningful change to unfold.

Alongside this individual work, I am committed to the broader dimensions of trauma healing and collective transformation. Through speaking, collaborations, and advisory work, I explore how somatic awareness and trauma-informed practices can support communities and contribute to more compassionate systems.

Whether working with individuals, groups, or organizations, my intention remains the same: to create spaces that deepen connection — within ourselves, with one another, and with the world we are helping shape.

One breath, one moment, one step at a time.
